COREEXAM

Study Software for the Department of Energy Radiological Control Technician Core Examination.

The COREEXAM software was first created in 2001 when we were contacted by the folks at Nukeworker.com that a program similar to RPTEXAM was needed to help people study for the Department of Energy Radiological Control Core Examination.

COREEXAM currently has a database of 1000 questions with technical content similar to the questions on the DOE core exam.

The Core Exam questions are not the same as the questions on the DOE exam although some may be similar.

Core Exam has the following features:

You can create an exam with as many questions as you like.

Your exams may cover any or all of the question categories.

The question base is divided into 13 categories as follows:

Basic Mathematics and Algebra, Unit Analysis and Conversions, Physical Sciences, Nuclear Physics, Sources of Radiation, Radioactivity and Decay, Interactions of Radiation, Biological Effects, Protection Standards, ALARA, External Exposure Control, Internal Exposure Control, and Radiation Detector Theory.

You can select to include questions from any of these categories in your exams.

You can print exams and answer sheets and a score card of how you did for each test that you make and take.

As you answer questions, COREEXAM provides timing and tracks your correct and incorrect answers, and provides the correct answer with an explanation of why!

Dixie and I are proud of our work with COREEXAM and love to hear how people did with it. We hope you enjoy COREEXAM and if you take the DOE Radiological Core Examination, we wish you the best of luck!
